Eleven Months

I cannot believe Jonah will be one in just a few weeks. He is so much fun and so full of energy. He continues to be so happy. He only cries when he is hurt and spends the rest of his day giggling and smiling. He is sleeping 11 1/2 hours every night essentially without crying! Our nights have been so much better since identifying the allergies. He is feeling so much better. We are slowly finding things he can eat and I am working on finding a good recipe to make a cake for his birthday.

Here are some other things he is doing:
  • makes an elephant sound when he sees elephants (all other animals are still "quack")
  • blows kisses
  • feeds others with a spoon
  • loves playing in Emma's kitchen toys
  • this past month noticed the animals at the zoo and was excited to see them and watch them
  • sits down on command (when food is involved)
  • mastered climbing the steps
  • standing on his own for many minutes at a time
  • loves Emma's ducky
  • uses signs for please, more, all done, wash hands
  • loves bath time
  • says: mama, dada, book, hi, quack, duck, uh-ohs, truck, no
  • still gives Mommy kisses like crazy
  • likes to facetime with Daddy
  • highlight of his day is when Daddy pulls up in his car and comes into the house
He is still very laid back and easygoing. We are thankful for this sweet, sweet little guy!
